Upcoming Leadership Conference at Humboldt State University

Educasting and the Research Center for Leadership on Action are presenting 2 workshops on "Talking Collaborative Leadership: Lessons from the Social Change Field" at the Leadership Conference October 11, 2008 at Humboldt State University in Arcata, CA.  The workshops will explore collaborative leadership as a way to define shared values, work through conflict and discuss how to integrate theory with practice.  The workshops will be held from 9-10:20 and 2:30-3:50 in Sieman's Hall, room 115.  For more information please visit http://www.humboldt.edu/~studaff/leadership/index.php.

I belive that this conference is a valuable, student driven and scholastically focused endeavor of which I am pleased to be this year’s student coordinator. This year’s conference and keynote theme ask Why Can’t We All Get Along?! (Uniting our Campus Community through Multigenerational Communication) and fred bennett  will speak and present workshops on this specific topic.
