About Us
Educasting.org adds value and extends the life and reach of our radio programs and other organizations' audio and video productions by re-grouping, re-editing, augmenting them with new narration, and packaging them with customized supplemental resource materials and study guides for distribution and/or download as curricula materials for use in institutions of higher learning, community organizations, NGOs, government agencies, facilitators, distance-learning classes, civic groups, libraries and much more.
Educasting aspires to do more than give people information, but rather to engage them as participants in the process of innovation. This includes thinking about long-standing problems in new ways, brainstorming solutions, and developing approaches for action, all in the hopes of cultivating a culture of innovation. Therefore, we construct the study guide component of Educasting packages in a cascade that includes a comprehension component, but more importantly a discussion, analysis, and creative problem-solving component. The hope is that the guide has enough material to meet any participant ‘where they are,’ but that the guide creates a pathway that spirals from basic knowledge toward critical analysis and ultimately results in creative thinking and innovation.
